DIY Home Decor

I LOVE DECORATING A HOME.  AND, WHILE THE ONLY HOMES I HAVE HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO DECORATE ARE MY OWN, I FIND THE PROCESS TO BE CREATIVELY SATISFYING.  I ESPECIALLY ENJOY FINDING INTERESTING THINGS TO HANG ON MY WALLS. I LOVE A CLUSTER OF BEAUTIFUL AND INSPIRING IMAGES TO LOOK AT.  IN OUR HOME OUR WALLS ARE FILLED WITH RECORDS, PORTRAITS, FRAMED BOOK COVERS, THE CHILDREN'S CRAFTS, AND AS OF TODAY I CAN ADD EMBROIDERY HOOPS TO THE LIST.

I CAME ACROSS THIS IDEA WHILE BROWSING A NEW SITE THAT I WAS INTRODUCED TO BY MY GIRL, BECKI.  IT IS A SITE DEDICATED TO THE ART OF ORGANIZATION.  LOVE.  THE PARTICULAR TOPIC OF "FRUGAL ARTWORK" CAUGHT MY EYE AS A) I AM IN A FRUGAL STATE OF MIND AND B) I LOVE TO GET CRAFTY EVERY NOW AND THEN.

THIS IS AN INEXPENSIVE WAY TO SPICE UP ANY WALL, PROVIDING THE PERFECT OPPORTUNITY TO EXPRESS ONE'S PERSONAL STYLE.  I LOVED THIS PROJECT SO MUCH, I CAN SEE MYSELF FINDING WAYS TO GIFT THEM.  (LOOK OUT IF YOU HAVE BEEN A RECIPIENT OF GIFTS FROM ME IN THE PAST!)

HERE IS THE ORIGINAL INSPIRATION.  SEE #8
(ALTHOUGH, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND VIEWING THE ENTIRE LIST OF FRUGAL IDEAS. I PLAN TO IMPLEMENT MORE AS I FIND WAYS TO COVER CURRENT AND FUTURE WALLS.)
