JEFF WOKE AT 4:30am SATURDAY MORNING AND HIT THE ROAD BOUND FOR CHICAGO TO PICK UP OUR FRIEND, MARK, BEFORE CONTINUING ON TO CLEVELAND. I WAS GRATEFUL THAT HE WOULD BE MAKING THE TRIP WITH A BUDDY.
LATER IN THE MORNING AT A MUCH MORE PLEASING HOUR OF THE DAY, THE KIDS AND I MADE OUR WAY TO NANY AND PAPA'S FOR A DAY OF FAMILY FUN.
MY UNCLE RANDY AND AUNT BILLIE MADE THE TRIP DOWN FROM BIRNAMWOOD, WI TO SPEND THE DAY WITH US MAKING MEMORIES. MY AUNT DIANE, COUSIN DINA, AND COUSINS SANDY AND NICK WERE ALSO THERE TO JOIN IN THE FUN. IT MEANT SO MUCH TO ME THAT THEY WERE THERE TO GREET US, AND SPEND TIME WITH US BEFORE THE BIG MOVE. I WAS BLESSED TO RECEIVE A SPECIAL PHONE CALL FROM MY AUNT KATHY IN JERSEY SENDING HER LOVE, PRAYERS AND WELL WISHES. MY HEART WAS FULL.
THE LITTLE LADY WAS THRILLED TO HAVE UNCLE RANDY TO PLAY WITH ALL DAY. WATER FUN ENSUED.
NOT SURE IF THE LITTLE MAN WAS THIRSTY OR ATTEMPTING TO DROWN HIS SORROWS OVER THE IMPENDING MOVE.
OUR LITTLE RAY OF SUNSHINE.
LEARNING TO BAT WITH UNCLE ADAM.
GETTING IN A LAST CUDDLE WITH AUNT DAWN.
"FREEEEEEDOM!!!"
WHAT A CREW!
IT WAS SUCH A BLESSING TO SPEND OUR LAST DAY IN MILWAUKEE WITH OUR LOVED ONES. SINCE OUR MOVE TO MADISON, OUR TIMES TOGETHER ARE NOT AS OFTEN AS WE WOULD ALL LIKE. IT ALWAYS BRINGS ME SO MUCH JOY TO SEE CHAR AND JOEY WITH THEIR COUSINS. I'M GRATEFUL TO MY MOTHER FOR PLANNING SUCH A SPECIAL SEND-OFF FOR US AND WILL CHERISH THE MEMORIES THAT WE MADE.
