Countdown to Cleveland - Day 24

FRIDAY MORNING WE SET OFF TO PREFERRED TITLE BRIGHT AND EARLY TO CLOSE ON OUR HOME.  THINGS WENT RELATIVELY SMOOTHLY, AND WE CELEBRATED WITH IT-FEELS-GOOD-TO-HAVE-SOLD-OUR-HOME-IN-THIS-MARKET-SESAME BAGELS.  WE HEADED TO STARR GRASS DRIVE ONE FINAL TIME TO PICK UP THE U-HAUL.  AS I DROVE AWAY WITH TEAR-FILLED EYES I WAS GRATEFUL TO THE LORD FOR HIS PROVISION IN PROVIDING SUCH A LOVELY HOME FOR US DURING OUR TIME IN MADISON.  I ALSO KICKED AROUND THE IDEA OF A NEW TATTOO - SOMETHING WITH A STAR AND GRASS.  hehe

WE ROLLED INTO MILWAUKEE AND MET UP WITH THE GRANDPAS WHO HELPED UNLOAD HALF OF OUR BELONGINGS, WHICH WILL STAY PUT IN JEFF'S OLD BEDROOM DURING OUR YEAR IN CLEVELAND. THE KIDS WERE EAGER TO HELP.

THE JOES BUSY AT WORK.

WHO DOES THIS KID THINK HE IS?  HE IS BOTH AN EXCELLENT CLIMBER, AND SKILLFUL LABORER.

DISCOVERING "OLD" TOYS

ASPIRING TRUCK DRIVER.

ONCE OUR BELONGINGS WERE UNLOADED, CARRIED DOWNSTAIRS, AND CLEVELAND BOUND BOXES WERE RELOADED, WE ENJOYED A QUIET AFTERNOON AND EVENING WITH MIMI AND DOC.
