i will launder and fold your scrubs with love and care, knowing that each day you slip into them you are doing so out of love and care for us

i will pray for you each night, as i reach out to run my fingers through your hair one last time before falling asleep

i will find fulfillment in my daily activities as homemaker, seeking to orient my life with yours

you will come home to a warm meal each night, with the exception of those meals that i ask you to pick up (because as much as i love cooking, i love me some good take out every now and then)

i will read countless pages on the topic of marriage and a wife's calling, so as to grow in my capacity to serve, honor and love

i will stock our fridge with an assortment of beverages, because some days require a coke zero, others a gatorade and others a cold brew

i will recognize that there are two kinds of people in this world: those that snooze and those that don't

i will find humor and charm in your imperfections for you have spent a lifetime perfecting them

you will have an fresh can of shaving cream waiting for you the morning your current one runs out

i will listen to the new music you find, expanding my tastes, finding new songs to love
