SINCE I BEGAN READING ANN VOSKAMP'S ONE THOUSAND GIFTS, I HAVE BEEN INTENTIONALLY SEEKING OUT MOMENTS TO CAPTURE, JOURNAL, REFLECT UPON, AND TREASURE. THIS WEEKEND'S TRIP TO THE FARMER'S MARKET AT SHAKER SQUARE PROVIDED ME THE OPPORTUNITY TO OBSERVE OUR SWEET ONES, TAKE IN THE BEAUTY OF A COOL, SUMMER MORNING SIGNALING SIGNS OF FALL, AND SAVOR ALL THE SWEET AND SATISFYING MOMENTS THAT COME WITH MORNING STROLLS THROUGH THE MARKET. ALL THAT WAS MISSING WAS JEFF, WHO UNFORTUNATELY GOT CALLED BACK TO THE HOSPITAL.
white tented peaks housing summer's bounty
our new stomping grounds
she delights in moments small; i delight in her moments
hoping for a cat in spite of her daddy's insistence that we are a dog family
beauty lies waiting at each corner
plump, sugary hands
skies bright and glorious
happiness prompts dancing
waiting for store fronts to open with the possibility of play
choo choos come and go, eye candy for our little man
sweet exchanges
red and round, inspiring this week's meals
items picked by tiny hands
