DAY FOUR I AWOKE IN A DARK AND QUIET HOTEL ROOM AT (WAIT FOR IT)...8:00 AM. SHOCKING, I KNOW. THAT'S WHAT FINE DINING AND GIRLY GABBING UNTIL MIDNIGHT WILL DO TO YOU.
THE LITTLE LADY AND LITTLE MAN WOKE EARLY (SO I WAS TOLD) AND WERE GREETED BY THEIR DOTING GRANDMAS.
DADDY ENJOYED A QUITE MORNING (SO I WAS TOLD) LOUNGING AND WATCHING ESPN UNTIL HIS MID-MORNING TEE TIME.
THE SWEET ONES AND I WERE REUNITED LATE AFTERNOON IN MILWAUKEE AFTER MY RELAXING MORNING IN CHICAGO AND PEACEFUL TRAIN RIDE HOME. WE SHARED A QUICK DINNER OF PIZZA WITH NANY, PAPA, AND UNCLE ADAM BEFORE HITTING THE OPEN AND CONSTRUCTION-FILLED ROAD BACK HOME TO MADISON.
ONCE AGAIN IN THE VAN.
I HOPE ALL THIS TRAVEL HELPS PREPARE THESE TWO FOR THE EIGHT HOUR TREK TO CLEVELAND.
WHO DOESN'T LOVE HOLDING HANDS IN THE CAR?
