Countdown to Cleveland - Day 10

DAY TEN STARTED EARLY WITH BOTH SWEET ONES WAKING BEFORE SEVEN.  ONE WOKE WITH A DISPOSITION SLIGHTLY SWEETER THAN THE OTHER.
CAN YOU GUESS WHO WOKE UP ON THE WRONG SIDE OF THE TODDLER BED?

I LIKE TO CALL THIS SHOT - "APATHY."

WITH TWO QUICK ERRANDS OUT OF THE WAY, WE WERE EXCITED TO VISIT OUR FRIENDS "MISS JOAN," OLIVIA AND SOPHIA FOR A FAREWELL PLAY DATE.

JOAN AND I BECAME FRIENDS WHEN WE BOTH STARTED ATTENDING BLACKHAWK'S MORNING MOM'S GROUP, TITUS.  WE WERE PLACED IN THE SAME SMALL GROUP,  AND QUICKLY LEARNED WE HAD MANY THINGS IN COMMON.  WE BOTH HAD RECENTLY MOVED TO MADISON AS A RESULT OF OUR HUSBAND'S PROFESSIONS, WE WERE NEW MOMS TO TWO ADORABLE BABY GIRLS, WE WERE FORMER ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TEACHERS, WE HAD A STRONG DESIRE TO RAISE OUR CHILDREN IN A LOVING, CHRIST-CENTERED HOME, WE HAD A STRONG APPRECIATION FOR PREMIUM DENIM, AND WE ENJOYED OUR COFFEE WITH CREAM, SUGAR, AND BAKED GOODS.  JOAN IS THE KIND OF WOMAN WHO IS ABLE TO HAVE A STRONG INFLUENCE ON YOUR LIFE WITHOUT HAVING TO SEE HER ON A WEEKLY BASIS.  SHE IS A WONDERFUL LISTENER, AND IS VERY EASY TO CONFIDE IN.  I ALWAYS LEAVE HER PRESENCE REFRESHED, AFFIRMED AND ENCOURAGED. I'M VERY THANKFUL FOR HER FRIENDSHIP.  I ONLY WISH WE COULD HAVE SPENT MORE TIME TOGETHER DURING (WHAT NOW SEEMS) OUR BRIEF TIME IN MADISON.

This picture was too cute to pass up.  I love the sweet grins that are just hidden behind sippy cups and excavating fingers.

I see slumber parties in their futures.

After a morning spent with five lovely ladies, I think the little man needed to demonstrate his masculinity by helping me with the "heavy" lifting after his nap.

Every hard working man needs some refreshment after his labors.

If only every service man could be paid in Popsicles.

Our children are learning to get creative with their "toys" as their Mama continues to sweep through the house packing up the likes of Fisher Price, Circo, Leap Frog, and Crayola.

An afternoon trip to Brennan's with Daddy resulted in "Animal Six-Packs."  Please do not judge us.

AND, NO FRIDAY WOULD BE COMPLETE WITHOUT OUR DOORBELL RINGING AT 7:15pm ANNOUNCING THE DELIVERY OF OUR PIPING HOT ROSATTI'S PIZZA.  IT IS ALWAYS A SATISFYING AND AT TIMES THERAPEUTIC WAY TO END OUR WEEK.
